Message for the Day – February 20

Suffering only exists when we compare the present with the past or with the future. Never if we live the unity of the moment.

You were born to enjoy

Even to eat bread you need external help: a knife to cut it into slices. Everything requires an external force. Even so, at some point you will have to realize that the external force and the internal force are the same. When that awareness comes, all friction disappears, because the cause of all problems is duality.

The mind has expected too much or too little from the other person, but if there are no expectations then love would never bring suffering.

When preconceived ideas cease, all suffering is relieved.

Message for the Day – February 20

Through its heat the sun extracts water vapor which turns into clouds and makes the day dark down here. Can we call the clouds bad because they block the sun? No: in the same way we define good and evil, perfection and imperfection in all things.

You were not born to be miserable. You were not born to suffer. You are the child of joy, created in joy, for joy. When you were conceived, what did your parents do? And wasn’t this, in some way, an action of joy for them? It may have been the joy of love or it may have been the joy of lust, but the essence of joy was there when you were conceived.

Ramón Leonato Dominguez

I was born in Madrid in 1960, when I was a young boy I was solely interested in understanding the secret of life. I grew up studying biology, chemistry, physics and by 15 years old I was already in college. I published my first research work in Insect Biochemistry, Pergamon Press Vol. 10 pp 529 to 533 on molecular genetics at the age of 19 years old. In seeking for answers to the secret of life I started with biology and molecular genetics and from there I went to theoretical physics, finally I landed in the area of mysticism, or self awareness under the guidance of Gururaj Ananda Yogi, a disciple of Swami Pravitananda with whom I studied until his passing away in 1988.
