Recovering from Loss and Dissatisfaction

This section includes a set of everyday tools proven to make current lives sweeter and progress toward better days faster.

The hurt we suffer when we experience loss is the hurt not of love, but the hurt of the mind. Our mind is a patterned mind, a conditioned mind, an envisaging mind, the mind that has expected so much or so little from the object, from the person. But if there is no expectation, then love could never ever bring about suffering, for love itself is an offering.

Now when you offer yourself, your inner being which is love, we have no right whatsoever to expect any return whatsoever!

If you love, you love, or you don’t love. Or otherwise, you think you love.

Many think that they think, and many people think that they love, which is not the spiritual path at all.

But let us talk of the man in the street that knows none of these things. His life is very mundane. He has his expectations, and he wants this from… For example, if it is a woman, he expects this from the woman, and the woman expects that from the man: that he must be like this and he must be like that. Right. So what does it really mean? That he has a preconceived idea. And whenever there is a preconceived idea, there cannot be love. For with that preconception, how can you flow? That is the blockage.

Through meditational practices, you will develop greater awareness, and your preconception of things gradually cease. When they cease, then all suffering ceases. Learn these practices in this unique opportunity in Ossining. Only during March, we propose sponsored places to assist for free to a top of the class meditation and spiritual practices course. So now back to the man/woman in the street. He/she has so many dissatisfactions in life. Those dissatisfactions are created by a sense of insecurity that in turn breeds a sense of inadequacy that in turn makes him act contrary to his inner nature which is love — a vicious circle sets in.

Now what to do when placed in such a situation, that is the question.

What to do? Bring yourself back to your senses: Our mindfulness, meditation, and spiritual practices method will help you start looking at things from a completely different perspective. Try it. The proof of the pudding is in the eating. Try it and see how it benefits you. See if it does not change your perspectives. You have nothing to lose, maybe in worst case, but these 16 hours of your life can bring you the best gift of all. A path to peace within yourself and with your circumstances, and a path to experience the joy of love and laughter in life.

There is no lost hope. As long as there is life, as the old saying goes, there is hope. But if you really hope, then let not that hope be covered or shrouded with preconceptions.

Learning and practicing our method of mindfulness, meditation, and spiritual practices, you will be unaffected by the exterior happenings because there is something beautiful taking placewithin yourself that has to express itself.

Life is made to give and not to take. So when we develop the idea as far as love is concerned about giving, giving love, then the idea of receiving love is gone. To receive love must be a spontaneous, automatic process from the opposite person without any form of coercion. There should be no coercion. And if we gain the necessary strength within us through meditation, then, if the opposite person does not respond, we are not affected.

Love is, to many people, taking, grasping, fulfilling one’s needs, gratifying oneself. It will never produce happiness because it is not love to begin with.

True love is so powerful, so strong that it could transcend any barrier. It even goes beyond death. The love you have for a person which is born from deep within can transcend any barrier at all times even while you are sleeping.

That love is working, for you can’t sleep without that love. For love is God and God is love. To really understand what love is all about, one has to have an understanding of what Divinity is all about, for they are none different.

And without understanding that which is Divine, we could never fully love. Amongst the seven thousand million people in this world, there are very few that know love. Many people know love to a certain extent, but not love in its totality, because total love requires a complete integration, an integration of mind, body, and spirit. And until that condition comes about, no one can love totally.

This is no cause for disappointment. We are on the path. And it is good to be on the way. This path is synonymous with the achievement of God.

Some obstacles come about in this path, and through the meditational and spiritual practices that you will learn, through making an effort in our daily lives, you will overcome these obstacles and problems.

Join this unique opportunity during March in Ossining and register to one of the free places of our mindfulness, meditation and spiritual practices course that will transform your life restoring the peace in your heart.

Ramón Leonato Dominguez

I was born in Madrid in 1960, when I was a young boy I was solely interested in understanding the secret of life. I grew up studying biology, chemistry, physics and by 15 years old I was already in college. I published my first research work in Insect Biochemistry, Pergamon Press Vol. 10 pp 529 to 533 on molecular genetics at the age of 19 years old. In seeking for answers to the secret of life I started with biology and molecular genetics and from there I went to theoretical physics, finally I landed in the area of mysticism, or self awareness under the guidance of Gururaj Ananda Yogi, a disciple of Swami Pravitananda with whom I studied until his passing away in 1988.
