PRANAYAMA MANTRA MEDITATION
It is a practice that we do in a group, but it can also be practiced alone. A chant is a chant, it is used to prepare us for meditation.
Prana means “vital energy”. Yama means “control”.
A mantra is a syllable, word or group of sacred words, with or without meaning, used to support meditation.
The practice of mantra pranayama is a technique of controlling the vital energy by repeating a mantra. It helps you to focus the mind by having a sound as an anchor and solid object of concentration.
Etymologically the term mantra means “liberator of the mind”. Reciting a mantra serves to hold the mind and to be able to be observers of ourselves.
The mantra we use is: HEIM HRIM KRIM CHAMUNDAYE BI CHE CHE CHE. It is a villamantra, it represents the feminine energy, its value lies in its vibration, it has a receptive quality that induces meditation. This mantra emits a universal sound that takes us to our origins.
