Yin Yoga: The passive and slow version of traditional Yoga exercises. On a subtle level, the longer held poses help release energetic/emotional blockages stored in the body, on a physical level Yin increases flexibility around joints, tendons and ligaments while also soothing the nervous system and relieving stress.
