Teacher of the course: Rahib Bashir
Hey everyone! My name is Rahib, I am a prep teacher with the American Meditation Society. I have had a pretty consistent meditation practice for around 5 years. I am currently a medical student at the Lincoln Memorial University-Debusk College of Osteopathic Medicine and am passionate about how meditation can transform the way we look at life.
I started meditating 5 years ago during a period of time where I was feeling disconnected from life. Through meditation and other lifestyle changes, I was able to feel at home again. Through meditation I strive to continue to look inward, and gain a deeper understanding of myself and the world around me in the present moment.
Through the IFSU platform I seek to help teach beginning meditation skills to others, and strive to help others see how taking even just a few minutes out of your day to be still and mindful can make a profound impact on their daily lives.
