Guide for the online course
For 8 weeks, each week you will receive study material, various complementary materials and also the practices of the week. They will be complemented with a Zoom video meeting in which the teacher will guide you and further explain the material reserved for each week.
You can follow the course at your own pace, without effort, although it is better if you do it in the 8 weeks set by the method. That is why I advise you to do your work within the week and do not leave it for later. This will serve to generate a habit, a routine. Also, the following week you will have more material and more practice. And so for 8 weeks.
This period of time is not accidental. Scientific studies have shown that, after 8 weeks of regular meditation practice, structural changes occur in your brain. You need 8 weeks for the changes that meditation produces in you to be effective, although you can start to notice them from the first day. This is why I ask you to carry out the practices and exercises of the course during these 8 weeks.
Each week you will receive a work guide for the week that contains: an outline of the concepts to work on, the development of the topics, the practices of the week and different complementary materials.
One day a week, we will all meet in a webinar (online meeting). To have access to the weekly webinar, you only have to click into the Zoom Tab of your classroom as in the picture below.
Also once a week you should practice a Chant (group meditation with the pranayama mantra technique). To do this meditation you should join one of the groups that meet weekly to practice this meditation. You will find the times for these meetings in the Group Meditation Classroom.
